Underweight: below 18.5. Normal: 18.5–24.9. Overweight: 25–29.9. Obese: 30 and above.
BMI doesn't account for muscle mass, age, or fat distribution. Athletes may show high BMI despite being very healthy. It's a screening tool, not a diagnosis.
